The Autumn Season means Warm Days and Cold Nights!
Ariel’s Place provides temporary safe housing for women battling addiction and in need of immediate housing and other assistance. Ariel’s Place is a judgement free zone. My name is Lisa Lake- Grossman and the idea of Ariel’s place was inspired by the tragic loss of my own daughter Ariel to heroin addiction.
Ariel was 27 years old when she passed away in March of 2018. I know she would be thrilled that we are working in conjunction with Friends of Ferdinand. Together the programs of ARIEL’S PLACE and FRIENDS OF FERDINAND offer our struggling sisters on the streets a position to work with and care for the special needs’ animals of Friends of Ferdinand. It is our sincere hope that working with and caring for the animals will give the women a since of purpose in their own journey on the road to recovery. I know this collaboration is something my daughter would have loved. Ariel was kind, brilliant, loved all people and she loved all animals. I know she is smiling down on this partnership. Ariel was one in million and so is this endeavor! Please consider making a donation in the memory of my daughter Ariel. Thank you for your time.
